Animation Notes

As I have progressed throughout my animation I have had to take notes on things I needed to extract as well as add in terms of drawings and effects. It has helped me stay organized and on top of what drawings need to be scanned, what drawings need to be added in the animation, and what drawings needed to be built upon to make smoother transitions. Here are some of my notes I have taken thus far:

Insight into Cell Animation

Hello All:
As you know, I've been hunched over a light table for the past few weeks. The animation is coming along quite nicely. It's a whole different animal drawing an animation frame by frame rather than using a computer to do all the handy work. The tricky part is staying motivated to continue drawing. I've found if you build the animation as you go, it helps you see the animation come to life, and you just begin to want to delve in more. It's been fun. And guessing by my time line, it appears that I'm on track...however, we all KNOW that animations really just do whatever they want and have us by the collar. I intend to finish however! (As if I had a choice..)

Well, there's a first for everything...

I suppose there has to be a first entry on my new, "only for ARTG424 class" blog so I thought I would add one to start off right. My hope is that while I add what is necessary for class, I'll also add what inspires me about graphic design in its entirety. I try constantly to surround myself with graphic design; it is what I love, it is my passion and it'll be a part of who I am for my lifetime.
